Simplicity, simplicity, simplicity...
Simplify, simplify, simplify... Keep it simple! If we look at things with a broad perspective, we can see how everything in the universe is connected. But if we look at human beings among all other species, we find that we are the most versatile. Notice I didn't say the smartest because though we can create, we also cause a lot of destruction. But focusing on our versatility, we can and will develop the greatest eco-friendly structures, medicines and unity for the world, which can only get better. Just look at the development of prosthetics. People who are missing all limbs can now function with mechanical parts as if they had all of their limbs in tact. We have even developed prosthetics for animals. There are eco-friendly bridges being built for animal crossing. Rooftop gardens and an uprising in organic produce. The focus seems to be shifting towards oneness of the world, so don't worry about those who are on a power-trip! Looking from the outside in, it would appear that humans are here on this earth to make it a better place and to maintain it. We certainly have the ability to do so. This is why I stress SIMPLIFICATION! I teach my children if they have food, water, shelter and clothing, then they are blessed. As a species, we should all realize this truth and if others don't have all of these necessities, we should help them. Shouldn't we all be so blessed? Through the ages I'm sure there was a point in time when the entire world shared this understanding. In fact it's quite simple isn't it? We have various religions where the basis of each one is the same and truly teaches love. So if religion is meant to spread love, then why does is separate us so much? It's the power of perspective! The power of Choice! "In the beginning there was the word and the word was with GOD and the word is God." To me this means our intent manifest through our words and thus becomes our creation. We choose what we wish to create. So what's the point in creating anything that will make others suffer or not flourish with us? Choice is always optional and the time is always now. If others are greedy, jealous or obnoxious, Love them anyway. Love is the greatest conqueror. Again; "HUMAN IS THE RACE AND THE RELIGION IS LOVE." Written by Ariel Flashman Dedicated to Humanity

I'm a full-time dad, a full-time artist, I work full-time and still find time to exercise. I'm basically full-time all the time. Not trying to pride myself on the fact that I juggle life because I know many people in this world share the same or similar circumstances. However, I'm writing this blog to highlight some important items from my own experience.
At times I've tried to push myself to write when I wasn't inspired and found I couldn't force it. It may have been good practice, but other times my writing would come out flawlessly just because I was inspired. Which brings me to my point about balance. I make plans all the time, I'm a planner, but I make my plans with possible change in mind. Life is too full of change not to be flexible. Unexpected moments create great fruition and memorable times. For instance, last night I planned on working on a specific song. However while working on it, my vibe completely changed and I ended up creating a brand new work. The new work is completely different and still being developed, but it's coming out great. If I only focused on what I planned to do I would have never created a new project, which I'm exited about. The bottom line is I have kids, love my kids, love my wife, love my family and must make time to spend with them too. Plus I love myself and need some me time too... So Balance is extremely necessary when it comes to how I spend my time. I may or may not become rich as an artist or a writer, but so what! I do what I want when I want and I love my life. I spend my time living in the moments. Not to say none of us should work hard to develop ambitions, but be careful what you sacrifice because the one thing you can never get back is time.
